Atlanta-area private elementary school hosts open house showcasing the school's emphasis on education that prioritizes Christian values, phonics, and STEM.

The Academy of Scholars believes that success starts at the youngest ages with a strong, values-based education. The school will showcase the building blocks of that education at its open house on Thursday, April 23, at 9 a.m.

The Open House is open to prospective students and their parents. It will offer a tour of the school and a chance to meet with administrators and teachers while seeing the school’s curriculum in action.
“People often say, ‘You’re teaching students all of that in elementary school?’ We’re harnessing the power of these young minds and teaching them to think critically from day one,” said Dr. Bolden. “Our students learn the fundamentals of computer coding as early as Pre-K, and they are immediately immersed in a science-backed, phonics-based curriculum that helps ensure reading success.”
As student test scores plunge nationwide in math, reading, and science, The Academy of Scholars takes kids back to the basics, teaching them proven strategies to excel in core subjects.
