MONSTER ENERGY GEARS UP FOR THE SMX FINAL FUELED BY MONSTER IN LAS VEGAS

PR Newswire

Athletes, activations and the Monster Energy Compound take center stage at the season's biggest showdown

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Monster Energy is bringing the action to Las Vegas for the SMX Final Fueled by Monster, taking place September 19–20 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As the final stop of the SuperMotocross World Championship, the event will highlight the sport's most thrilling rivalries, redemption stories and breakout performances, while Monster Energy amplifies the fan experience through its signature Monster Energy Compound.

The Monster Energy Compound will serve as the hub for fans to immerse themselves in the brand's motorsports culture. From live DJ performances and freestyle motocross demos to tattoo and barbershop activations, exclusive merchandise, VIP viewing platforms, and appearances from Monster athletes and the Monster Girls, the Compound will deliver high-energy engagement that extends beyond the track.

And it's not just dirt bikes: other Monster Ambassadors performing unmissable stunt shows over the weekend in Monster's dedicated Demo Area include off-road legend Casey Currie, and Harley masters UKNOWN Industries.

Out on the track meanwhile, Monster Energy athletes are primed to dominate both the 450 and 250 classes. In the 450 class, Eli Tomac of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has made a strong comeback, earning back-to-back podium finishes and looking to shake up the standings against the Lawrence brothers. Fellow Monster Energy riders Cooper Webb and Justin Cooper continue to be podium contenders and fan favorites heading into the finale.

In the 250 class, Haiden Deegan, the reigning SMX and Motocross Champion, looks to defend his crown in his final 250 race before moving up to the premier class. Despite a crash in the second playoff, Deegan remains one of the top threats in Vegas; with one more dominant performance he can run the table by winning the 250MX, 250SX West, and SMX World Championship all in the same season. Seth Hammaker of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki, fresh off a podium in St. Louis, will lead a stacked Pro Circuit roster that includes Levi Kitchen, Ty Masterpool, Garrett Marchbanks, and Drew Adams. Nate Thrasher, also of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, will look to build on his second-place finish in St. Louis to close the season strong.

"Monster Energy is at the core of SuperMotocross, and Las Vegas plays the perfect host for the season's culmination," said Dan McHugh, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Monster Energy. "The SMX Final Fueled by Monster isn't just about crowning champions, it's about celebrating the culture, the athletes, and the fans that make this sport so electric. With the Monster Energy Compound on site, and our riders battling it out on the track, we're ready to deliver a finale that fans will never forget."
